About
Dileydi Florez is an author and visual artist specialized in Illustration and comic.The originality and creativity of her works emerge from a very particular fusion between tropical blood and “lusitan” spirit. The artist was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and grew up in Portugal. Currently lives in Iceland.
Continuously searching for new narratives, the artist explores the plasticity of materials as an integral part of her creative process. For her illustration and painting works, she has a predilection for gouache, chinese ink and graphite on paper. In the comics, chinese ink and pen nibs are her main companions.
