Commitment and sacrifices

Dear March, how fast everything goes!

A few days ago I celebrated 35 springs in this beautiful world and now April is almost here!

What a joy! ♡

It feels like time is flying. What about you? Do you feel the same?

If so, please remember to breathe in and out. It works for me.

Since February many things and changes are happening.

I have been working on my solo exhibition at the Serpa Municipal Library, scheduled for the 30th of May to the 21st of June 2025 (new scheduled date), and on other projects that I hope to share with you soon.

On my exhibition, I am planning to have some of my sketchbooks, originals drawings and paintings, books and zines that I have done, as some ceramics! =D

For the next few months, my beloved partner (Afonso) and I will be on the road. We are going to have to make more sacrifices in order to get a little closer to our dreams.

Our home and base "Casa raízes" will be under construction and we don't know exactly how long it will take to finish. In the meantime, we will be based between Lisboa and Alpiarça with family.

Moving out with trees gave by the Municipality and to be planted at Alpiarça.

Our little paradise at "Casa Raízes" will be on standby (in addition to the ceramic water tanks, Afonso has installed the automatic watering system for all the trees and plants we have planted). But unfortunately we will not be planting any more flowers or vegetables until we can return home.

Of course I'll continue to work as a freelance artist and we'll continue to attend art fairs where you can see my paintings and drawings first hand.
